No such thing as a free lunch?

Each month one lucky POWERTUNE customer gets a refund check for half of his/her repair order – plus a gift certificate for the other half (max. value $500) to use next time or give away

There IS such a thing as a free lunch!

Power Tune began its “Free Lunch” program in March 2009. Warren Heaps added up how much he was spending on advertising, and decided it made more sense to reward clients who were already patronizing his business.

While looking at various options, someone came in and made the comment, “There’s no such thing as a free lunch.” Warren thought it would be great if once a month at least one Power Tune customer could actually experience a “free lunch.” He established a monthly drawing whereby one individual would receive a refund for his or her repair job, up to a maximum of $500. He decided to split the winnings, giving half in cash and half as a gift certificate, to enable his customer to share the excitement of winning with a friend or family member.

Patricia Canavan, Power Tune’s January winner, received the maximum amount. A resident of Hopkinton since 1995, she has been a loyal customer for ten years. Patricia says she was so excited and couldn’t believe it when Warren called her at work to tell her the good news. It came at the perfect time, too, as her husband had lost his job before Christmas, and she was recovering from a health problem.

Says Patricia about Power Tune, “It’s a wonderful business. They’re honest and trustworthy, only fixing what’s needed, and they bend over backwards to accommodate you.”
